When deciding on a new vehicle one of the biggest factors you are considering is what is the fuel economy? This is important for 2 major reasons.

  1. The first and most obvious is the financial cost of paying for gas. The more fuel efficient your vehicle is the less money you spend on gas. That means you have more money in your wallet for things you actually enjoy spending money on!

  2. The second and not always so obvious advantage of having a fuel efficient vehicle is not having to fuel up as much. This means you have more time doing the things you love instead of trying to find a gas station.

Volvo comes in 3 different configurations.

For the 2020 model year Volvo is offering both gas and hybrid configurations and in 2021 we will see the first fully electric Volvo hit the market.

1.

The first is a traditional gas engine configuration. This is where there is only a gas engine powering the vehicle.

2.

The second configuration is a hybrid configuration. In a hybrid configuration the vehicle is primarily run off a gas engine but there is also an electric engine that can be used as either an assist to the gas engine or as a stand alone engine for a short time.

3.

The third and last configuration is the all electric configuration. This configuration consists of only an electric engine providing all of the power for the vehicle and no gas is ever needed.
